100%I bought my Singer Heavy Duty HD6705C Sewing Machine to replace a basic model, I am extremely impressed with the new machine, it is quiet and has several functions that I have found very useful, I have yet to experiment with lots of the embroidery stitches but I am sure they will also prove to be very good

100%New to sewing I did a lot of YouTube research and my 5523 came out on top most of the time, with the worst reveiw leaving 4 stars, nothing worse. A couple of reviews said it's noisy, I don't think it is, and that was the worst thing said about the machine! I'm planning to use it for boat upholstery as well as other lighter tasks. I've already run 6 layers of canvas through it for a pipecot (a type of hammock slung at the sides, not at the ends) with no issues. It's not heavy, that surprised me. As a newcoer, I'm mpressed, it's doing everything I wanted it to do. As for the shop, answered a couple of questions I submitted through the website, answered within 2 hours, best price on the internet, fast next day delivery and I had the standard FOC delivery. One very happy customer.

100%Really like it! Only two criticisms: would have liked for it to be advertised more clearly that it would be best to purchase a storage bag with it as the one that it comes with is very flimsy. Also the self-threader is quite fiddly to use! Otherwise very happy with the product, its durability, the look of it, the 10 year warranty and the customer service.

100%I've had this machine a while now and have been extremely happy with it's performance. It's managed everything I've thrown at it with ease including thin leather and fairly thick denim. I also make quilts on it and have managed to free motion quilt with no problems whatsoever. It's simple to use but has a lot going on as far as features so I highly recommend this to folks who want a lot more out of a machine than just general sewing.

100%Called into the Whitley Bay shop to check out the SInger Featherweight C240 and was helped by Claire. She really knows her stuff! I had already checked out their website but wanted to see it working and try it out. She demonstrated the machine taking her time giving me lots of information and tips to use it. I checked that I could carry it easily, I produced a good straight stitch and embroidery stitch with no tension issues and it was so easy to control. I dithered a bit and Claire suggested I went for a cup of coffee to think about it. There was no hard sell! I bought it and took it home. I had a great time on Sunday trying out all the features. The hard case is a real plus protecting the machine and it runs quite quietly. I like the Singer top drop in bobbin system and it's great being able to see when your bobbin is running out of thread. I do worry about damaging the see through plastic bobbin cover after many years of using my all metal vintage Singer 338. A replacement is available & it's only £5.99. However one great thing about the shop/website is that they can get Singer replacement parts but when they're not available they also can create replacements using their 3D printer. The Featherweight machine has lots of features including the tie off, needle up/down, foot pedal as well as automatic speed control, 70 different stitches, a range of different feet and it is an all metal interior which makes it very stable for heavier weight sewing. However the really big feature is the very neat integrated feed system which is so easy to use and pulls back out of the way if you don't need to use it. This makes it great for quilting, no having to attach a bulky walking foot any longer! One thing it doesn't have is an automatic snip which would have been useful but it does have an easy to access very sharp thread cutter. An extension table is available and the shop/website has the facilities on site to produce a custom made table for your sewing machine. There's a 10 year warranty with the machine and I could have ordered it and had free delivery but I was keen to try it out over the weekend so took it home with me! I'm going to really enjoy using the machine and I know where to go for servicing and if I have any problems. I really enjoyed the visit to the shop which is an Aladdin's cave of sewing resources including fabric and the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. A little gem and well worth a trip if you're in the area.

100%I read about and researched many sewing machines before deciding the Singer 3321 was the one for me. The overall look and features stood out and it ticked all the boxes. The machine arrived next day, Saturday, totally unexpected, but a wonderful surprise. The 3321 is a good sized machine, sturdy and stable when used. It's not too heavy of lightweight either. It has a lovely finish and it's simple, uncomplicated appearance is a winner with me. I've been sewing for a good few years and found it easy to thread and the drop in bobbin was a must have. It's so uncomplicated and jam proof. The foot pedal surprised me, it's so lightweight but I've not experienced any issues with it, infact I've found it to be very responsive. The needle threader is amazing, I don't think I could manage without it now. If I'm honest I found the machine a little slow to start with, something I'm not used to and it seemed a little noisy, but the more I use it the more I absolutely love it. I've made a blouse and hot water bottle cover over the last few days and couldn't be happier with the 3321's performance. It stitches beautifully and the overlock stitch is a real bonus. I really look forward to sitting down to use the machine and hope it lasts as long as my previous machine of 25 years. I recommend this machine for its excellent quality, array of features and accessories. It does everything and more for a new or advanced sewist. I bought it specifically for dressmaking and it's doing the job admirably. This is my second purchase from this 5 star company. I really cannot fault them and would not shop anywhere else.Their customer service is second to none. I highly recommend.
