The lady who own the machine is 89 years old and has just moved back to UK from Portugal and she will be over the moon with this result, although a "cartwheel" may be out of the question. The press has arrived today thank you. The person who dealt with my order was helpful and friendly and from ordering it yesterday to receiving it has been less than 24 hours which I think is the most incredible service! I am very pleased with the quality, I chose Singer as a reputable name and I haven't been disappointed. Excellent hardly does justice to describe your service and my new Singer Confidence 7463, delivered earlier today (Wednesday) to the West of Ireland after ordering Saturday afternoon. The machine does everything I could want and the automatic needle threader is a revelation - eyesight not what it was after nearly 50 years of sewing.

Really pleased with this machine. It has sailed through tough fabrics like denim and stitched tubes for a bag that my bigger machine refused to sew. It is fast too. It may not be the prettiest machine - I choose the battleship grey version - but it has quickly become the workhorse machine that I take out to my sewing group. Pleased I bought it.
