Fabulous machine, perfect for people like me who are inexperienced sewers. My first machine, which I still have is a 1930s refurbished Singer, I then updated to a little known brand and it broke down within 2 yrs, so I came back to Singer; you can't get a better brand.

I love this machine! It's so easy to use even for someone with limited experience like me. The machine is easy to carry as it is lightweight, the manual is clear and easy to follow. I'm still trying to work out what all the stitches are for and how to use them, so a stitch guide would have been a nice addition, but you can find stitch guides online without too much trouble, so I don't mind too much. Overall it's a great machine for someone who is still gaining confidence in sewing. I would definitely recommend it.

I did a lot of research before choosing this sewing machine and I’m delighted with my choice. I was looking for a top loading bobbin and a robust, straightforward reliable machine. So far all’s great! 5 stars for Singer customer service too. Amazingly quick delivery, great price (and thank you for removing the vat to Jersey without been asked).

Bought this to replace my old 50+ year old Singer which I sadly had to leave behind in Canada. There are a few modern updates that I'm excited to use but it seems the same as the sturdy, smooth running machine that I left behind. I didn't abandon my old machine, just as a friend had passed it on to me, I passed it on to a friend. Expecting years of reliable service from my new trusty Singer.

Great machine used in my bag making work. Zips through all Manner of heavy layers with ease. Small but sturdy and a real work horse. Bought an extension table separately. Highly recommended for no frills tough jobs.

So pleased with my new 5523 machine it does everything that my old inherited Singer machine didn’t. The manual is easy to follow most impressed with the automatic needle threader, I’ve tried a few of the options- blind hemming, sewing on a button, making a button hole, zigzag stitching and more than happy with my purchase.

I had never used a sewing machine before the lockdown and so needed something straightforward to teach myself how to sew. This machine is ideal for me. It comes with a great little booklet, the Singer Utube videos are very clear and specific to this model, so I was set up in no time. There are even cute little diagrams on the top to show you how to tread it up. To my great surprise, I have made gift bags and eco crackers with ease. The zipper foot is easy to use and just snaps on. The ordinary foot has even coped with re-inforced webbing without a murmur, so I presume that I could sew jeans just as easily. I am completely delighted, and would definitely recommend this user-friendly machine.

I wanted a robust sewing machine for general sewing tasks. Strong and powerful enough to cope with sewing jeans and versatile for all the basic family sewing needs around the house. I looked at the specs of several sewing machines by different manufacturers before finally deciding that on paper the Singer 3333 looked my best option and the best place to buy it from was Singermachines.co.uk. Now I have had a chance to put the machine to the test, I can say I am not in any way disappointed. I found the manual supplied with the machine very comprehensive and easy to understand. I used scrap materials for my test runs and was surprised how quickly I was up and running. This machine will do everything that is needed in terms of basic household sewing in my home.

I bought this machine as I wanted to start sewing. I had used a machine once maybe 25 years ago so I consider myself new to sewing. This machine is easy to figure out and seems a quality piece of machinery. I watched a video guide to set it up which helped a lot. I have made bedding for my daughter’s doll bed, pincushion, pencil case and phone holders. Next I might even venture into making a skirt for my daughter (and one for her bunny as requested :) )

I had my Singer 514 for over 40 years and had to buy another because I could not get the parts when it finally broke down! I had a hard job deciding which machine to go for and finally went for the 9960 after reading reviews/recommendations online as it featured in the top 20 and was the machine owned by the reviewer. Having been used to the most basic of machines I was quite nervous about getting a computerised machine. However it has been easy to set up and I have worked through the manual trying the various stitches and love it. I haven't had it long enough to have tried everything but it has stitched denim, cotton and brushed cotton with linings perfectly. I had owned my old machine for so long, and was so used to it, that it was like losing an old friend but I now realise what I have been missing. I ordered my machine late on Thursday night and it arrived on Saturday. Would highly recommend the machine and the company.
