My steam press stopped working while I was ironing?

Don't panic, if all of a sudden your steam press stops working with no heat coming from the top plate.

For safety, steam presses have an automatic cut out system. The automatic safety shutoff, will enable automatically if the pressing plate has been lowered against the ironing board for 30+ seconds without being raised.

The fix is to reset press, simply turn power off then back on, and you are ready to start ironing again as soon as it reaches temperature.
