Thread looping, reveling or bunching under fabric while sewing

Incorrect or NO top thread tension - Incorrect threading.

Re-thread top thread, make sure the presser foot is lifted, while threading. This allows thread to locate into the correct thread tension route.

Thread has not been pulled into top tension unit- re thread, make sure thread is kept taut while threading.
