Fitting a spring loaded darning or free-motion embroidery foot
If you need help fitting a spring loaded darning foot, which It is also the same as the free-motion embroidery foot with the bouncing spring action
When fitting the a daring foot or embroidery foot to a sewing machine make sure the arm is above the needle clamp screw, I normally squeeze the foot (compressing the spring a little) while fitting it to the presser foot shank and at the same time making sure the spring loaded arm goes over the needle bar clamp.
