Arrived when they said it would (next day). It's everything that they say it is. It tackles heavy/thick seams no problem and is a lot lighter in weight than I thought it would be. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone who sews, whatever their experience. It is so easy to use I can hardly believe it. The only critisism I have is that the foot pedal is very lightweight and is difficult to place on the floor due to the shortness of the electric cable. Apart from that it's fantastic. What more can I say?

A lot different to my previous machine which was an industrial Brother machine. Only had it a few days and so far so good. Have only used it to alter my clothes but does the job.

Although I've been sewing for years, all I need now is a lightweight basic machine, so when my 20 yr old Toyota gave up the ghost I chose this one. It arrived quickly and am delighted so far. It also sews heavier fabric, which is a must. I find the spool filling thread direction strange, but will get used to it. Came with set of scissors which are good quality.

I have sewn for years treated myself to this new machine...it came nicely packed nice extra little pack of extras....easy to set up...the auto needle threader a god send with not so good eyes....light to lift up.....got no complaints at all.....would recommend this machine for beginners and experienced.......thank you Singer

This is a great low budget sewing machine for those just starting to take up sewing, or if you are 'downsizing', and want a good basic selection of tools to use for occasional everyday sewing tasks without spending a lot of money for functions that you may never need/use. It is easy to use and, although it is a 'lightweight' machine, it is more than adequate and great value for money.

I'm so pleased that I picked this machine! It feels substantial and hard wearing. The instructions are easy to follow and the machine was easy to thread. It doesn't have an auto threader, but that's less to go wrong. The dials are intuitive and clearly labelled, there is a small accessory store which slides off for sewing of e.g. sleeves. A great buy, a good mid price workhorse.

Great sewing machine, much faster than most domestic ones with the ability to go at very slow-pace (single stitch at the time when you need it) and an excellent customers service on top of it all.
