As a beginner I wanted something decent but not too pricey as a starter. Had been looking at this machine for a while before I finally purchased it. I really like it. It's easy to use and feels very sturdy . I have tried thick layers of fabric ( a steam mop pad ). It got through it no problem. Very easy to thread very easy to use . I just love it <3 it does its job very nicely I would recommend this machine to anyone who is interested in it .

Fast delivery service - very impressed! Pleased with the machine - it is a lot different from my old Singer machine but am getting used to the new features. The only new feature I have used so far that I cannot get on with is the automatic needle threader, it is too complicated and really needs to be looked at again by the designers. Also far too much plastic that can snap and break - it was all chrome plated metal on the old machine and much better. Overall, apart from the couple of comments I have mentioned, am happy with the sewing machine and would recommend it.

Delivery was very quick and the sewing machine came with a bunch of accessories and spare needles. Very useful. The machine is easy to set up, and sews easily through multiple layers of lycra. Definitely a very happy purchase!

1st sewing machine purchase so was looking for one that is easy to use, This fits the bill perfectly. Good instructions and does exactly what it says. The automatic needle threader took a bit of getting used to but certainly helps. So far really impressed. Delivery next day was a bonus.

The machine is lighter than I expected given that it is heavy duty and feels plasticky compared to my existing machine however its performance proved it is up to the task coping with 4 thicknesses of canvas stitching with a heavyweight thread. Fir the price, I reckon it will prove to be good value for money coping with the canvas work I want to use it for. Not having a hard case is a negative for me as it means storing it in its original oacking box which takes up too much room. Other than that, do recommend it.

Very good price, easy to order and very efficient service. The machine is replacing my 30+ year old Frister Rossman which at the time was the lightest, easiest to thread and best buttonholer on the market. This Singer now beats it on all accounts and will deal with the heavy brocades and leathers easier. Altogether brilliant!!

Having read the reviews for this machine, I was confident that it would be good and it certainly is. Not done a great deal with it yet but the wide range of stitches and the ease at which you can interchange is marvellous. Once I got the hang of the needle threader that was easy to do and it is nice to be able to see the bobbin whilst sewing so you know not to start big jobs and then run out of thread. Overall very happy with this machine. The delivery was just amazing. Ordered early afternoon and with me early the next morning. Just brilliant.

Sometimes the internet seems such an impersonal way of shopping, however I would like to say that Singer's approach was caring and helpful and I felt that I could ask for help if I needed it. The videos were so great. As for the machine I purchased, the description used in the sales info was accurate. I believe it said "light and robust". Just the ticket ! I've used the more basic side of the machine and I'm not disappointed. Compared to my past sewing machines it is so quiet. I hope for many years of trouble free sewing.

Omg. This machine is fabulous. I had my last machine for 43 years. So I was upset when it died. This is so fast and goes through thick layers like butter. I great machine for a professional sewer.
