100%Actually not sewed for several years and have spent weeks looking at different sewing machines on-line and by visiting stores. I knew what I wanted from a machine which was to do various sewing from garment making to quilting and embroidering. I also wanted one that connected to my laptop so I could download designs for embroidery from the internet or from pictures. Finding a machine which did all of this I thought was an impossibility especially with the budget I had set. I had come to the conclusion that I would have to buy two machines and spend a lot more than I could afford. Hey Presto then it appeared..! On Singer Machines Ltd the CE150. I read and read the description and ordered it. Arrived within a few days set it up and off I went. Beep, Beep and number 19 flashing at me. Looked up in the manual and Ok I hadn't threaded it correctly. Tried again and I must say the automatic threader just amazes me. Tried various stitches using whichever footer it says and it's a whiz. Dying to try the embroidery but need to get stabilisers yet so haven't yet tried this. Even so, this machine is so easy to use I love it. Afraid house isn't as tidy as usual as keep finding things to alter, repair and make and can't keep off it. Definitely trying the embroidery this weekend and I should think it will be just as easy as everything else on the machine. Already got my Christmas list of what other software, etc I want for it. Obviously already has a good amount but now I've started sewing I want to get everything I can out of the machine and also add to it, which is another added bonus.

100%Delighted with my new Singer 7470 sewing machine. I bought my last one 40 years ago so I am really looking forward to having many more years of sewing with a much newer computerised model.

100%My old Singer is still in working order but I fancied a more up-to-date machine. This new Singer is very easy to use . In fact my 15 year old grandaughter , an inexperienced sewer was soon using it with confidence. The button holer was easy to use, and gave good results. Excellent service . Will order from here again.

100%I am very pleased with my purchase. It is a nice lightweight machine which is very easy to thread and get sewing. I am returning to sewing after a few years break and am so pleased with all the features on this machine, having previously had a very basic heavy machine. It runs smoothly and I am enjoying trying out all the stitches and catching up with quite a lot of mending/alterations! The free arm sewing will be very useful. The machine was delivered next day by free courier – you can’t get better than that!

80%As my first overlocker this has proved to be a very capable machine; however the instruction manual would be far more useful if the threading guide (at least) was in colour to match the machines dials. Would recommend this to anyone as a starter machine. Telephone service and support before purchase was excellent from knowledgeable people. Highly recommended overall.

I did not have a carrying case and wonder if there is one available for this machine. STAFF: A CASE CAN BE FOUND AT: http://www.singermachines.co.uk/strong-blue-sewing-machine-carry-case.htm
