HI I am very happy with this sewing machine it is lovely to have a sturdy reliable machine after having a cheaper lightweight machine for the lot of sewing that I do having my own sewing buisness. The one negative is the foot pedal that it arrived with is not of industrial quality and indeed feels like it may break very easily not compatible with the machine at all and a dissapointment***STAFF COMMENT*** THE SINGER HEAVY DUTY 4423 IS A DOMESTIC MACHINE, NOT INDUSTRIAL.

I bought this machine on the advice of one of your phone staff,I required a machine that would sew heavy denim and so far it seems to cope very well, being in mind I have only used a few times. It is very easy to use and set up,it does what it says on the tin Vic McConville

I am quite new at sewing and found this very easy to use, followed the instructions step by step to get myself used to the machine. I was a bit concerned as it states it is an ex display but I honestly could not tell the difference, it was nicely packaged, looked brand new in the box, all for a fab price as it was on an extra 15% off offer ( I paid just over 150 and they sell for 220 in John Lewis). Used it a few times and so far all great, many stitching options, so very happy with the purchase.

My machine arrived today, it is very easy to use, fast to thread and the automatic bobbin winder is very quiet and fast. I love the automatic buttonholes and that the foot auto measures the hole size to fit the button chosen it will save me loads of time. The machine itself is very quiet and the stitch quality is lovely. The decorative stitches will make any home made garment look very professional and allow for a wide scope for creativity. Delivery was very fast and you can track your parcel online and once the product is on the van it even gives an estimated time within a hour to delivery. Very happy with both machine and service from singer machines. Many Thanks I will certainly return for future purchases.

Great machine, does what it says on the tin, a lot sturdier than previous machines and faster too perfect for running up hems on curtains. Not the quiestest but certainly is heavy duty.

I have only had my machine for a few days but am already relly impressed with the quality and versatility. My old machine was also a Singer, over 20 years old and still going strong but lacking all the different stitches etc. I am eagerly awaiting the delivery of a free motion embroidery darning foot that I ordered at the same time so I can try out my Art projects with my new machine.
