Before I launch into pros and cons, I'd like to say my experience is based on using my press for bed linen only, as I run a small B'n'B. Just don't really like the way shirts come out and never needed for trousers. Anyway, the pros: -it is massive and easily fits large sheets that are just double or triple folded. Or can do 2 pillowcases on one go. -It works great for me, cuts my ironing time more than half. -I could adjust time/T, which I don't. -beeping sound is great - perfect pitch, not too loud not too quiet, I can hear it from the other side of the house / as long as kids are quiet/ -super fast delivery, it arrived in 24 hours or so. I was stunned. Cons: -the most annoying thing is it doesn't keep the T constant. Every 2 or 3 flips of the sheets and I need to wait for the T to go up again. That's is my only real grumble and the reason for the 4* rating. My old press was better made as it kept it at the same level all the time. -as said in the beginning, it is massive and take quite lots of space, and is also quite heavy. If you're tight on space or need to keep it in a cupboard and take it out when needed, mind you it takes 2 people to move it. -the Health & Safety feature to keep it locked during use is quite annoying, too. It's constant slide right or left... Overall, it is a great press, well thought out and well made. My first press is Singer so I decided to trust the company again and Singer delivered quality, as expected.

Deliberated for a king time over purchasing, looked at multiple makes and models, settled on this one as I trusted the ‘Singer’ brand name. Didn’t disappoint either. Very happy with the results, heats quickly, delivers a good amount of steam, has a range of settings for different materials, a built in ‘beep’ alarm to remind you not to over heat your item, if you are using steam a lot it pays to check the reservoir - it’s not huge and does run out fairly quickly if you’re constantly steaming. For example, if I press 2/3 duvet covers and sheets, steam pressing all of them, the reservoir will need re filling. Obviously bigger items are a challenge as it’s not the biggest press, however it’s manageable once you’ve navigated a technique. For the price, very happy.

I love my steam press, takes the back ache out of ironing as I am an older lady and it cuts down on time as well. Very pleased with my purchase

I had been looking at this ironing press for quite a while before finally convincing myself that I could justify the expense. I remember my mum having a similar machine when I was a child from a large family. Anyway, it's wonderful! So quick and easy to use and no more piles of undressed linen staring at me. I would definitely recommend. I love it.

Recently purchased a ESP2 steam press from Singer, (to replace a very old Fastpress machine) Customer service was excellent, despite a few hiccups with our payment, sales team very helpful and informative, delivery swift, a joy to use, I couldn't do without it, even my hubbie likes to iron with the press too. I have back problems, so can sit down to iron, highly recommend ..thank you Singer.

Bought the ESP2 press to replace my previous Singer press which only lasted 33 years! Previous press was dry iron only but the steam version deals with creases rapidly and faster. Much lighter in weight too. My only criticism is the location of the on/off switch at the rear of the machine, it used to be on the lid on the old machine and much safer to use, but I’ll adapt. Here’s hoping I get many good years out of this one
