I enjoy sewing and do some to accommodate my brother's dexterity problems, which my Brother machine has difficulty with. As yet I have only practiced using the Singer before using it to 'upgrade' garments for my brother's needs. I have a computerized Brother machine so this Singer is a step backwards as it's very basic but I look forward to working with it on denim and leather work.

I really like the sewing machine. It’s very light, looks very elegant and so far it’s very easy to use. My previous sewing machine was a Singer from the 70s. So this is a big update for me.

I purchased this machine for my daughter's birthday. I have the same model myself a have been really pleased with it. So easy to use and threading . I'm 82 and this is my third Singer. What better recommendation.

Excellent machine, very impressed, non professional, occasional use, re hemming shower curtain, handling 620 GSM tarpaulin for boat dodges and window covers with walker foot, also custom fit curtains, done all jobs very well, take time and care on set up it's very satisfying to use with great results. Thanks singer you've saved me a fortune :)

Great little machine. Goes at a decent speed, which is especially nice when top stitching on the seams of a floor length skirt for a tall woman. Handles multiple layers of denim with ease, too. And as it's mechanical it makes a nicer sewing noise than computerised machines. The price was good and the delivery speedy

Absolutely brilliant machine. I can't believe I didn't get one sooner. My sewing is so much neater and so quick to get to grips with. I did have to print off the manual as I'm better reading from paper rather than a screen and can bookmark the important bits I need, but I'm very pleased overall with my purchase.
