Fantastic machine, ive always used a manual singer machine, so electric is brilliant. So easy to thread needle now with auto threading, didnt even know that was a thing. Light and easy to store. Im so happy, thankyou very much.

This machine was selected as it is advertised as 'heavy duty'. My work includes slightly thicker than eg cotton lightweight materials, which my present 20yr old machine (Pfaff) struggles with. The 5523 so far, appears to work very satisfactorly.

I really love the new machine, the downside is putting the spool in and the threading the needles. Gets used to i suppose. Overall I really like. My previous machine i had for 33 years, hopefully this one will last as long

Loving my Singer Elite overlocker . So easy to thread compared to the one its replaced. Ordered lunchtime on a Saturday arrived lunch time Sunday . Excellent service. My only gripe is it doesn’t come with an instruction manual. Rang Singer machines and a very helpful gentleman talked me through finding the manual online as despite my best efforts could not find it using the information given.

I have had a Singer sewing machine (Featherlight), for the last 35 years, no problems, but I wanted to expand on the assortment of stitching /embroidery etc, also the features of needle threading, my eyesight is not very good so this model seemed the perfect choice.
