Took a long time to review sewing machines to replace my sewing machine that just stopped working, worn out! Decided on Singer and the M2605, auto threading drew my eye. Cannot believe the fast service, 1 & 1/2 days, packaging, plus easy to follow set up information, just tried out the stitches, smooth, quiet, can’t wait to start my next project. Very satisfied so far. Just a straightforward, modern machine with enough stitches that I suits my requirements.

It is a lovely, easy to use sewing machine. Ideal for beginners, the manual is straight forward, easy to set up. Light weight, plenty of thread settings, good value for money.

Quick delivery. Lightweight, considering a heavy duty machine. Easy to set up and use. Like the needle threader (once I’d got to grips with it). Downloaded the manual which is great (long gone the dog eared version). Not yet tried all the stitches, but looking forward to doing so.

As a teen I learned on a Singer treadle machine, which I loved. Then my parents bought me an electric Singer for making childrens' clothes. My Aunt (a professional home furnisher) needed a heavy duty machine and a 3-way swap followed and I had a 377, which I was told recently was between 60-80 years old. Yes, it was possible to repair the plastic bezel gear but it was immpossible to do without taking the machine completely apart. The new gear would have been only £9.50.So, cost of labour considered I decided it was not worth it and bought the M2105. This machine was relatively easy to set up. The machine works well, is light to the touch and I am getting decent results from it. Fair price.

The machine is very easy to use and has a smooth stitch, the only problem with the machine design is that the machine foot only rises to a certain height would like it to rise higher for thicker material.
