Further information about INSERTS and INSETS...
Inserts and insets are available in various sizes to fit all Horn sewing cabinets. The gap in the cabinet is measured to a specific size, this size will correlate to the insert or inset you will receive whrn ordering.
Please see the sizes below:
An INSERT - The filler plate sits on top of the cabinet showing the lip, it is secured so is fixed in place.
An INSET - The inset filler plate lies flat and isslotted into place, secured by sitting inside the gap, on a ledge.
The INSERTS have a little lip on them as you can see in the picture above. There are seven filler plates sizes available:
The smallest #1925 at 300mm wide x 285mm gap.
The standard type #1927 with a 480mm wide x 285mm gap.
The longer type #1929 with the 530mm wide x 285mm gap
The maxi type #1932 for cabinets with the 615mm wide x 325mm gap.
The new type cabinets have INSETS with no lip as you can see in the picture above, they are available in the following sizes:
#1939 - 545mm wide x 300mm gap.
#1942 - 615mm wide x 330mm gap.
#1952 - 625mm wide x 339mm gap.
When measuring the gap size, please ensure it is measured from left to right as you are facing the cabinet.
Please select whether you would like the replacement filler plate cut to fit your machine, in which place we need the machine make and model. Alternatively, you have the option to leave it un-cut if you desire.
