This Singer Sewing Machine Instruction book can provide help and guidance with all aspects of using your sewing machine including threading up and use of all its accessories.

"Specially prepared by Singer company many years ago". This is a re-production of the original Green/Red book in the image and covers many Singer sewing machines made over the years. It can also be used as a guide for most other mechanical machines made by other manufactures.

The SINGER company produced this comprehensive booklet to cover the operation of most of their current domestic range - necessarily changing it many times over seventy-or-so years. A lot of the information is in the respective manual, especially for the many attachments, like the ruffler, hemming foot, bias binder, quilter the buttonholer and zigzag cams etc.. Also covered in this instruction book is information on bobbin winding, threading, adjusting and all the basics you need to sew with a variety of Singer sewing machines.

Models covered in this edition: 15K range, 66K and 99K range,127K and 128K range, 201K, 250m range, 353/4 models, 400k models, 500k models, 600g models,.. and others.
Individual machine model numbers may not be mentioned in the book.

I was told by a sewing machine engineer in Hull that my seeing machine ,a singer 489 would cost more than it was worth to repair the damaged gears under the shuttle .I not only bought them from Singermachines at a very fair price but with their help and books completely repaired adjusted and serviced the machine myself .I learned an awful lot in the process.Thankyou Sewing machines .co.uk and your staff .excellent service .will return .

During a clear out of my parents shed I came across this sewing machine it had been in the shed for 20 years. My friend has wanted a sewing machine for years so after cleaning the cover we were amazed to see the machine was in pristine condition. Only problem no instructions was over the moon to find your site and also to source an instruction manual. My friend is looking forward to many years of sewing and no doubt we will be ordering again from this brilliant site.
