If you are used to a normal sewing machine, this is a bit more complicated. Follow the instructions and it would be ok to use. I have not used it a lot yet but I bought the embroidery threads and looking forward to create something fun.

I am absolutely delighted to be able to receive an instruction book for my old machine. It was purchased second hand 41 years ago and only now am I able to acquire an instruction book. Singer was and is such a marvelous name and their machines just never wear out especially when replacement parts can be obtained. Some time ago I bought new foot controls which has just made my machine new again.

After contacting Singer engineers for advice I ordered standard needles and spare metal bobbins for my recently purchased 1957 hand mechanism Vintage Singer sewing machine. All fit and work perfectly, thank you for your advice. Will now order needles for different fabrics recommended in the manual. G Owen, Swindon.

I needed a roller foot for a very old singer model .A Singer 533 .When I contacted spares and parts he suggested I submitted a ticket with the question to the support team. David McCreadie responded very promptly and was really helpful directing me to the part needed. My husband was really pleased as it was required to stitch vinyl and leather for a kit car upholstery .I would definitely recommend Singer service..

I was given a concerto 2 over 20years ago. My last bobbin broke in my hand. I order some and got them a day later. You can’t get better than that.

The ordering was simplicity but then I’ve had some experience ordering over the NET. I was quite surprised to get the knock on the door within a matter of days and would imagine that if I where living on mainland UK it would have literally have been a next day service. All told it was easier and cheaper to get the Singer sewing machine delivered to my door then go into town to buy it.
