Capacitor for foot control ordered and delivered within 48 hours. Well done Singer and Royal Mail. I had been warned by other reviews that the leads would need lengthening and although soldering is not one of my strong points, I did it, it worked, and the machine was brought back into use.

Just a comment - not a question. Thank you so much for supplying the part for my sewing machine (now 40 years old). In a world where most things are designed to be obsolete and irreparable after a very few years, it is brilliant to be able to buy the part that is needed for my old singer sewing machine. Very good range of machines with very competitive prices. I needed a heavy-duty machine for horsey projects, as my 15 year old Singer died after much abuse.
