A popular sewing machine by Singer and not just because of it's low price...however that does help! The Singer 1507 is lightweight yet capable of sewing quilts, jeans, heavy curtains, shirts and skirts with out any problem.

It's ideal for novice home sewer's or someone that just wants a sewing machine for occasional use. It can be left or stored on a shelf, then easily lifted by it's built-in handle to table level and used with out needing to reference the instruction book. It really is that simple to use. Feet snap on and off, bobbin winder is a de-clutch type. Follow the arrows for threading and use the automatic threader for pushing the thread through the needle eye.

It has 8 stitch functions and zig-zag width up to 5 mm wide. Every stitch can be selected by rotating the large easy to grab dial. Reverse sewing to tie off at the start and end of a seam. It stop threads unravelling with the handy lever reverse function located on the front of the machine above the needle.

The Singer 1507 bobbin is loaded from the front by removing the accessory storage arm and lowering the flap. It gives good clear access to the bobbin case. Even for some larger fingered sewer's like me. When the accessory storage arm is removed, the machine is ready for free arm sewing.

It is portable and at 6.5Kg can be lifted with ease, no matter where it is being stored while not in use.

Included Accessories: Feed Cover Plate for Free-Motion Embroidery, Zip Foot, Sliding Buttonhole Foot, General Purpose Zig-Zag Foot, Button Sewing-on Foot, Spare Needles, Spare Bobbins, Seam Ripper, Lint Brush, Patchwork Guide, Screwdriver, Spool Caps x 2, Soft Cover, Instruction Book, Foot Speed Controller.

Bought this machine for my daughters birthday in February. She is delighted with it. Looked at other small lightweight machines but reviews were not good and everyone seemed to rate this one highly. She found it easy to set up and she started off by taking up kitchen curtains and now she is doing all sorts of jobs including making a fancy dress outfit for her little boy. Very good buy +++++++ (Posted on 3/7/2013)

I bought this machine for my 14 year old granddaughter who is very interested in 'making things with material'. I was impressed with the overall style and ease of using the machine - the only query I had was the spool holder which seems quite fragile and is situated so close to the handle that I wondered if it might get broken easily. However, she is delighted with her machine and I look forward to seeing her getting a great deal of pleasure out of it. Thank you also for the quick delivery. (Posted on 9/23/2011)

Fantastic sewing machine. My mother bought me a Singer sewing machine for my 21st, well over 30 years ago now. Thought I would purchase one for my daughters 30th and she was thrilled. My Singer is still going strong after all this time having made my wedding dress, christening gowns, endless clothes for my children, and more curtains and cushions etc than I care to remember. Would thoroughly recommend Singer for quality and reliability and may well be purchasing another one soon for my other daughters 21st. Thank you Singer. (Posted on 8/8/2011)

I have rated my sewing machine with five stars as I found preparing the bobbin and threading the needle very straightforward. I purchased the machine to pursue my patchwork hobby and the machine has performed perfectly so far. Also the Sewing Machine company that supplied the machine took my order in the afternoon of one day and the delivery was before nine o'clock on the following day which is what I call service. I ordered on Tuesday, received the machine on Friday. I am NOT GOOD at reading instructions, but did manage to get my 1507 going pretty quickly. First for me..... I admit I haven't done much more than test it out, but it seems to do everything well, and am delighted it is so light and easy to move around. Thanks for the free sewing kit and scissors, all really useful and most welcome. I would recommend Singer - this is my second....the first one lasted 25 years. Glad I purchased from you.
