I bought my CSP1 Steam press in 2002 when I had an operation on my right arm limiting the use of it & I would not be able to do my ironing without the steam press I wonder why I didn' buy one before the only problem I find is the tank filler cap is vunerable &several times I have broken it in storage,a small price to pay for the quality Iget from the machine

I finally felt like a winner and not a winer. I hated ironing, but enjoy my press. Cuts my misery time in half !!! Inherited it from my exhusband whose law enforcement uniforms were always perfectly pressed

I purchased a Singer CSP1 steam press about 14 years ago, and it's still going strong. My wife does the washing, I do ironing and with the steam press it's a doddle; I've got my time for shirts down to about 1.5 minutes each - 45 seconds for t-shirts. It's also great for doing bed linen. I'd never go back to conventional ironing again!

I recently required a steam press. This is the best thing I have ever bought. It irons all the clothes effortlessly and definately cuts down my ironing time by half (a wheely bin liner would have taken me all day with the steam press it only took me 2 1/2 hours) giving me more time to do things on Sunday mornings other than ironing. now if they could just invent a washer and dryer that could cut my time down there that would be perfect.

I am absolutely delighted with my steam press. I ordered one day and it was delivered the next.

I have had my CSP 1 steam press for a few years now and wouldnt do without it. It makes ironing so much easier. The singer parts online is very easy and quick to use too.

had it for years in uk...bought it to spain...works atreat...no hassle at all with ironing...and i have severe arthritis..so its brilliant. even my husband can use it...not that ha does.

Have no instruction mannual, can anybody tell me how to descale it? The water jets are now blocked with lime scale.

After borrowing my sister press and finding it effortless I had to have my own. Now I am the proud owner of a magic press and find that pressing the beding a pleasure rather than the chore that it has always been.Thanks Singer you've made me very happy.

couldnt believe my eyes when at a boot fair there was one for ?35 pounds, needless to say I bought it, after wanting one for ages, best bargain I have had in years, love it to bits, and my sheets are now ironed effortlessly, it took a little while to get accustomed to a new way of doing the clothes but now comes naturally, great product.

Just acquired the CSP1 steam press. I have 2 issues - the compartment that holds the water for steaming, there isn't a lot of space under the plug hole to be able to hold a small container, & to pull the plug - it could be made easier if given more thought. Secondly, the pressure is weighted to the right of the machine and where the plate narrows there is no pressure at all, in fact the garment looks un-ironed at this end which means you have to move that section over to the right to make sure it is properly ironed. If I had known this beforehand, I would have spent the extra and gone for the next model that looks like the plate is weighted in the middle.

Just acquired the Singer CSP1 steam press. Lovely machine. 2 things: the drainage hole is not well placed as it is a small space in which to place a container & pull the plug. Secondly there isn't enough "pressure" on the plate at the narrow end of the board. Mine has a slight gap and when I press anything it is obvious that is hasn't been pressed - is this how they all are or just mine? Other than that, I am happy with my machine and glad I made the purchase.

I bought this for my athritic parents. They find it very easy to use and are thrilled that ironing time is much quicker. I intend to buy one for myself!

Suffering from Tennis Elbow I was forbidden from doing any ironing. Hooray! some might say,but unfortunely it still needs doing.
So I invested in one of your marvellous machines and what a difference it makes to the clothes and my elbow.
The finish it gives to shirts and trousers is so professional.

Since getting the CSP my ironing time has become a pleasure instead of a chore, so much so that my friends have now put it on their wish list for Christmas

Steam press very easy to use, the instructions were simple to follow, saves a considerable amount of time, particularly with sheets and duvet covers.

Sales and delivery excellent - Star rating 4 - the water container is difficult to empty without spilling, but overall easy to use and good finish. I like the swivel option.

great product makes ironing a breeze, even iron things that would not have bothered with before, IE socks under ware. product arrived in perfect condition good packaging very easy to use and getting great results first time round. best purchase this year.

Very easy to use and striaghtforward. Makes ironing enjoyable. The swivel plate feature is an added extra.
The only improvement I could suggest to the manufacturer is that the plate was slightly longer (A freind has an ironing press with a longer plate (width similar). This meant that a shirt front fits on in entirety, rather than having to be moved up)

The steam press I have been using constantly. I have found my own way of using it and I would not be without it. I would give this a rating of 4
The service from singer was very good.
All in all I have no complaints at all.

Love the press especially the ability to turn the board to fit long items as I am a kiltmaker and use it to press kilts. However, although I followed the instructions to condition the steam press before use there are streaks of yellowish substance on the upper plate and in the holes.

Very well packaged. Good instruction booklet. Easy to use and very time saving.

I am really pleased with the steam press infact my mother went out and bought one a few days later. It is easy to use, very effective and quick. In the past I used to avoid ironing however I was looking for things to iron as it was such a pleasure to use.

The machine is so easy to use, I absolutely love it. Now I know that I should have bought one years ago.I use the machine every other day or so and get through the ironing so quick I no longer have the usual mountain of clothes

On getting home I also ironed a dozen shirts in about half the time it would have taken me before and they looked as if they had been ironed too, a right result!!

I was so pleased with the steam press I bought for myself a short while ago that I have decided to treat my sister to one as well.
