I had lost my instructions so was looking to buy a manual, the book was ?12 and may be my older machine has other problems, so decided to buy this singer for really what was only a few pounds more and it comes with full warranty. Received it the day after ordering and ive just finished my first sewing task this morning, what a difference having a new light weight machine. Its has a good stitch.

As a novice I needed a basic and simple to use machine. I was not dissapointed with the 1507. I think some of the instruction book diagrams could be improved. But overall a great machine for the beginer, and a super company to deal with.
