Sewing Machine/Overlock needles
All the needle codes: 15x1  130/705H    HAx1   refer to the same needle fitting, 
which is a universal flat one side, round the other side shank. Made to fit all modern and older sewing machines going back 80 years. Needles come in various thickness to suit fabrics of differing density.

Thread Tips
If the upper and lower tension are correctly adjusted, the thread loop of your stitch should be exactly balanced.  The loop should not be visible either side of the fabric. If the thread shows on the top, the upper tension should be loosened or the lower tension tightened. Threads
When using any Gutermann Thread it should be drawn off  the reel over the Gutermann name. This rule applies to both hand and machine sewing. If your thread lies horizontally on your sewing machine, the Gutermann name should be on the right hand side. Gutermann Sew All Threads
For quick and easy threading never wet the end of the thread, simply cut at an angle. Scissors
Use the correct needle size and make sure it is in perfect condition - clean, sharp and not bent. Needles
