Singer's first in the range combined sewing and embroidery machine the Futura CE150 includes software to enable conection to your computer and like magic transfer designs and/or text to your next sewing project. Never has this sewing/embroidery/software option been offered at such a low price. It gives you computer connectivitiy to embroidery plus it a regular sewing machine.

As well as being a great sewing machine for everyday sewing, its also a full power embroidery machine when you link it to your own PC, software and cables are included to allow you to create beautiful motifs.

The new Singer Futura CE150 is a sewing machine that puts simplicity at your finger tips. Engineered to the highest standard in construction.

Software includes a embroidery design browser, 5 fonts built-in, resize design feature, 120 free embroidery designs, basic editing and recolour feature, automatic software and firmware updates, a large 6 3/4" x 4 1/2" hoop and a small hoop included and it accepts most home embroidery formats. e.g Brother .pes Janome .jef. Husqvarna .hus Pfaff .vip to name a few. Also the ability to copy and paste non-native patterns into one design. The Furtra CE150 is the perfect entry-level embroidery machine that offers great features.

As a regular sewing machine it has 24 built-in stitch patterns with an automatic one-step buttonhole. The buttonholer also incorporates the Singer exclusive under-plate system for perfect buttonholes. It features improved lighting for the user by replacing one bulb with three Stay-Bright LED lights. Automatic needle threader and the needle up/down button is now programmable on the Singer CE150.

One-Step Built-In Buttonholes:
Choose from 2 different one-step buttonholes. Buttonhole sewing is a one-step simple process that provides reliable results because the sides of the buttonhole sew the same direction to prevent gaps in stitching or fabric distortion.

New! Exclusive Buttonhole Underplate:
This is a SINGER developed system that sandwiches fabric between a lower plate and the foot, to ensure perfect buttonholes on multiple layers of fabric. Effectively, this is like a mini-embroidery hoop in which the machine feeds the attachment, rather than the fabric. It makes creating buttonholes possible in places that conventional buttonhole devices cannot easily reach.

New! Programmable Needle Up and Down:
Select whether the needle is in up or down position when the machine stops. It is beneficial to have the needle stop in the down position when applique, quilting or pivoting fabric. When removing fabric or picking the bobbin thread up, program the needle to raise to the highest position. 13 Needle Positions Needle position can be changed for individual projects, such as inserting zippers or cording and topstitching.

This function of the software provides for viewing several designs at one time, in order to scroll through and view design collections

3-D Realistic View:
This function of the software provides a preview of the selected design in a manner such that the stitches appear on screen as they will when sewn out on the fabric.

3-D Realistic Print:
This function of the software provides for printing the 3-D realistic view. This is useful when creating placement templates.

Change Colours:
This function of the software provides for selecting colours for an embroidery design. Software includes thread charts, with colour numbers, for several of the most popular brands of embroidery thread.

Embroidery designs can be transmitted to the Futura embroidery machine in 4 different ways. The design can be sent one colour block at a time, the whole design can be sent at one time, the design can be sent in one colour or the colour sequence can be chosen during data transmission.

Trace the outline of the design in the embroidery hoop for more accurate design positioning.

Operates with Start/Stop Button:
Use the Start/Stop button to start machine. When it is desired to stop sewing, press the Start/Stop again to stop sewing and have the needle stop at its highest position.

Move forward or Backwards through a design:
Move forward or backwards through the design using the Needle Stop position button or Reserve Stitch.

When changing design size, the software automatically recalculates the stitch density.
